One event I had forgot to mention was on last Monday. Last monday was ANOTHER national holiday. Yup! u get them a lot in Japan … and ALL of them were either on Friday or Monday… now aint tht convinent. 
Bay Bridge
Since I had already been to paradise; so as per my routine of 1 big location on 1 weekend.. and local roaming around on rest of adjacent holidays.. so I was not going anywhere far on Monday. So, I decided to take a trip to SkyWalk. SkyWalk is a view point on the Bay Bridge in Yokohama. Bay Bridge is 460 m long cable suspended bridge over Tokyo bay and connecting Tokyo and Yokohama by road. You can go by other land route or train.. but that makes a “c” shaped curve. While the bridge is a direct intersection over the water. Although I read somewhere that it is longest suspesion bridge in the world.. but I doubt tht.

And SkyWalk is a integral part of the bridge. You have to pay 600 Y as toll. And Skywalk is a 320 m long side walk of the bridge upto the Sky tower on bridge and you view the architectural magnificance of the bridge from that.
The misadventure
So, this week Zia and Know-me joined with me to go there. One thing I did wrong was not research throughly on best route to reach it. I took it for granted as the bridge is clearly visible from Yamashita park area, so I thought it would be a simple walk to the bridge foot from there. So, we started to walk all the way… and boy it was FAAAAaaaRRRR… but when we finally reached the foot of the bridge, we realized that there is no pedestrain walk to go up the route. You need a car or a bus to go on the bridge and then drop off at the Sky Walk which is in the middle of bridge. So, we walked to a bus stop near a hospital there; and waited a long time for any bus to approach.. and when it did come the bus driver told us that bus doesnt go on bay bridge from here.
And thus if we were to goto Sky Walk we would have to go all the way back to some proper big Bus Stop and take bus from there; Which was really not on our agenda to do now. So, instead we just let go of the idea. All of us will get to see the bridge whatsoever anyway. Cuz the return route the bus takes when people goto Airport to return to Pakistan, is 99% of the time the bay bridge one.
Harbor view park – a revisit
I had already been to this park, but since now while walkign towards the bay bridge we were in vicinity of this park so instead of plaininly going back home.. we moved a little south to visit this park on the way back. Both Know-me and Zia had not seen it. But the park had changed a lot since my last visit.
When I had first come here it was HOT.. i.e. just before Autumn and the greenry and flowers here were lush green. But now Autumn had passed away and winter was on the verge .. infact we were wearing sweater and jackets that day for first time I think. And in this weather the grass and plants.. everything was dull and yellowish. The park was thus not properly maintained too.. as if the gardners were also waiting for winter to do its worst and only then they will start workign again before spring… to bring it back to spank condition. After that we just returned home to take rest for the rest of the day.
