I had initialy plans to goto Nissan Football stadium on my last weekend in Japan but since the festival was in Shin-Yokohama… where the stadium is so I went there right after teh JGC Festival.

The importance of this stadium is that Japan hosted Fifa World cup in 2002 and the Final match b/w Brazil and Germany was conducted right here in this stadium. And there are many things here like the sci-fi cup monument and the center plate with final score of the match. There are also foot print and hand print of teh two captains on this block.

The floor around the center piece has match ladders showing which team beat which one and there are other event plates on the ground.

The architect of the stadium is well.. as u can imagine huge. There is also an indoor water park which also belongs to Nissan and a shop outside. There is a seperate ticket if u want to go inside that one and a 100 Y ticket to see teh stadium from inside.

After staying there for a while we left and came back home.
